Loving God and Loving People
We love Jesus, believe the Bible, and have loving, caring people from many denominations.

The Chapel is a beautiful building in an ideal setting, but it is the people that are the church.

Come and visit us and you will experience God's warmth and love as we strive together to be what God has called us to be.

We are waiting to get back to having potluck dinners again every third Sunday right after service.
Watch for our special events Like "Curry Throw Down" and "Chili Competition".

Hi Corey,
I want to give a special thank you for the chapel family, especially Tom who helped me by changing my tire. It is nice to have a family the looks out for each other. I find the more I reach out and give of myself the more I receive.

Hi Pastor Corey, I just want you to know that I heard from God this morning in our chapel service. As I shared this with my friends around the camp fire, they said they had the same experience. God is so good.

Hi Pastor Corey,
I just want to say thanks for the help from the chapel. Hard times have caused me to have to humble myself and ask for help. The helping hand has made a big difference for me in my time of need.
Hello Corey,
Thanks for the help in cleaning my lot. Charlie was wonderful.
The second Saturday of every month our men get together to eat breakfast and learn how to be a better man of God. We start at 8:30 AM and are done promptly at 9:30 AM so you can still complete your "honey do" list.
Everyone is welcome to come to the chapel. If you are not a member of the camping club, just stop at the front or back gates and ask for a chapel pass. The friendly rangers will give you a pass and directions if you need them.
Something to Think About: 5-5-26
It is good to be home! Rita and I went to go visit the children and the grand child in Italy for two weeks. It was my first visit to another continent, and everyone I talked to about my upcoming trip had some advice or information about what it would be like. And I can say they were all right. They did not tell me about being trapped in a tiny airplane seat for hours on end, however.
I have never had a desire to travel to other countries. I always find it interesting but there are many interesting sights to see right here in the USA that I haven’t seen yet. People are different in Italy. We stayed in Milan, Verona, and visited Venice, and in all of them I noticed how different people are over there. Their environment is different, their food is different, I kept buying food items and got home to find what I thought was in the package was not what was in the package (who puts sugar on their crackers?).
In short when I got home, I cannot tell you how grateful I was to live here and be an American. I am not very happy with any of our politicians, but I love our country. Sunday morning, I used one of my big coffee cups and was able to put creamer in my coffee. I drove my truck to chapel instead of waiting for a bus, tram, train, taxi, uber, or walk 19,000 steps. I love the cool green forest we live in where I can walk and stop to talk to friends and neighbors.
Those of us who walk with Jesus may have to walk through some hard times, or fight hard battles, or struggle just meeting schedules and getting stuff done. The best part is that we know when our time is up, we can go home to the best home we can imagine. In fact, if you can imagine it … it’s better than that. My challenge for you this time is to be grateful for what we have. Enjoy our freedoms and do all you can to make sure we keep those freedoms. Don’t be one of those people who didn’t appreciate what they had until it was gone.
